Severtson Screens is a global leader in projection screen technology and is known throughout the world for excellent quality projection screens.
In the early 1990’s a contract with IMAX Corporation brought Severtson Corporation into the cinema screen industry. To meet the challenge of the larger screens, a robotic application system was designed that could be used to coat screens on site. In 1998 Severtson Corporation applied its optical coatings to the world’s largest cinema screen (103’ x 129’) in Sydney, Australia.

They are an ideal choice for home theaters, conference rooms, and other applications where a permanent projection screen is desired. The Legacy Series is a collection of popularly-priced, entry-level screens that rival the quality of competitor's "high-end" screens.
Bring movie theater quality to your home or office with a Legacy Series fixed frame projection screen. Each screen is manufactured to the same high standards that Severtson Screens is known for in their production of large cinema screens. The Legacy Series is designed from top to bottom to be the perfect permanent entry-level home or office projection screen. From its hassle-free assembly to its signature USA-made projection surfaces, the Legacy Series is a reflection of the excellence and elegance Severtson Screens strives for.
Each Legacy screen is built using sturdy, extruded aluminum that aligns precisely when assembled. Each frame piece comes wrapped in Severtson's signature light-absorbing black velvet. These screens can be assembled quickly and easily, thanks to the Severtson Flex RTS: Rod Tensioning System. In this system, the edges of the screen material are seamed and notched to allow rods to be inserted through all four edges of the material. This allows the material to be easily secured to the frame to keep the viewing surface tensioned and perfectly flat.
BWAT: Bright White Acoustically Transparent is designed for applications where a more realistic sound-stage is desired, this woven fabric allows for the installation of speakers behind the surface of the screen. With virtually no sound loss and sharp image quality, its specially designed weave pattern allow sound to smoothly pass through the screen material. The small holes in the surface of the material are smaller than Severtson MicroPerf and the material is cut at an angle angle to avoid moire effect. BWAT is washable with mild soap and water, flame retardant and mildew resistant.
Cinema White is over 30% brighter than Matte White. It is a unique fabric that offers a bright, uniform image with no color shift at any viewing angle. This surface is designed to provide a higher amount of brightness for lower output projector types. Its increased reflectivity will help enhance image brightness in situations where a low level of ambient light is present. Cinema White is washable with mild soap and water, flame retardant and mildew resistant.
Cinema Grey is designed for today's moderate output DLP and LCD projectors. This screen surface is a great choice when video images are the main source of information being projected and where ambient lighting is moderately controlled. With its specially designed grey base surface, this screen material is able to provide excellent black levels without sacrificing the white level output. Cinema Grey is washable with mild soap and water, flame retardant and mildew resistant.
